Skookum® multi-use wide throat and utili-sheave blocks are designed to pass a variety of lines, connecting links, and terminations. Work-hardening manganese steel sheaves maximize wire rope and sheave life, with an alloy sheave option offering the same durability at a lower cost. R6, R8, and R4 models feature tapered roller bearings for long life in higher line speed applications, while the R4 also includes straight roller bearings to minimize size. A recessed sheave prevents wire rope binding, and the full sided block design maximizes sheave protection and strength. The versatile draw pin allows for rapid reeving and easy exchange of attaching styles. Rugged cast alloy steel sides ensure durability in demanding environments. It is fully ASME B30.26-1 compliant.
