Duckbill hooks are crafted from a single piece of drop-forged steel and sharpened to a fine point for precise gripping. They feature a strong clasp made from ductile iron, which enhances durability. The clasp is open at the top and secured with a bolt, removing the need to drill a hole through the handle. A sturdy steel swivel enables smooth rotation, allowing logs to be maneuvered easily through tight spaces. This tool is built to handle logs ranging from 3 to 16 in in diameter. The handles are turned to a 2.5 in dia and are available in 4 ft and 4.5 ft lengths, made from kiln-dried white mountain hickory with a moisture content of 18%.
