SpecSeal® Firestop Sealant, Intumescent, Series: SSS, Tube Container, 10.1 oz Container, Water Base, Paste Form, Red, Mild Latex Odor/Scent, -10 to 185°F, 1.24 Specific Gravity, 608°F Flash Point, 8.3 pH, 29.2 g/L VOC, Applicable Materials: Metal and Plastic. SpecSeal® SSS firestop sealant is a premium grade water based intumescent firestop sealant. SpecSeal® SSS sealant incorporates our proprietary 2-stage intumescent technology making it the go to choice for any combustible or non-combustible penetrants. As little as a 1/2? applied depth of SSS sealant is required to provide up to a 4 hr fire resistance rating when tested to ASTM E814/UL 1479.
